Geoff
Owner & landlord Born in Cardiff 1951, raised in Ely. At the age of 11 years Geoff then moved with his Father (William Charles Partridge), Mother (Doris Evelyn Partridge), brother (Billy), sister (Jeanette) to the Ship Hotel in Cardiff Tiger Bay, where he spent many of his younger days growing. Geoff attended the Cyntwell school in Ely & then went on to Llandaff college to study Carpentry. After finishing his education in Llandaff college Geoff was employed by Blue Circle cement works. In 1972 Geoff married Barbara & moved to Brynna. Staying in Brynna for 5 years & having a child they then moved to Rhoose, where they had another two children Sarah & Kirsty. In 1986 Geoff took redundancy from Blue Circle ment. Geoff & Babs then moved to Crosskeys, Gwent where they had bought a Fish & Chip shop. Raising 3 children & running a very successful business they saw a fantastic 15 years there. It was in 2003 when they decided to move to West Wales to a place were they always wanted to be. It was then they bought the Welcome Traveller Inn.
